Having provided health care services as a Registered Nurse in Neonatal Intensive Care at Albany Medical Center for several years, Noreen embarked on an ambitious program of study completing a JD/MBA program with Albany Law School and the Graduate Management Institute at Union University.
Her legal practice focuses on advising entrepreneurs about issues affecting business organizations; providing support to employers and managers concerning personnel matters; and litigating civil suits across a spectrum of disputes - from contracts to personal injury and more. Noreen also has experience defending health care providers against charges of professional misconduct and malpractice. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Attorneys.
In 2017,Noreen served as Chairperson of the Trial Lawyers Section of the New York State Bar Association. She is currently a member of the Section's Executive Committee and also serves as a Member of the House of Delegates of the New York State Bar Association. Noreen is working on the Subcommittee for Diversity and Inclusion of the Membership Committee of NYSBA.
As an active member of the Capital District Women's Bar, Ms. Noreen previously served on the Board of Directors and was previously a Co-Chair of the Diversity Committee and the Caregivers Committee.
Noreen previously was certified by the Human Resource Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources and she continues membership in the Society of Human Resource Managers and the Capital Region Human Resource Association.
Having given presentations to professional organizations on a variety of topics, Ms. Grimmick is currently an adjunct faculty member of the College of St. Rose in Albany, N.Y. where she teaches Human Resource Management.

Noreen is a graduate of Maria College where she earned her Associates Degree in Nursing. After years of practice as an intensive care nurse, she completed a Baccalaureate Degree in Economics from Siena College where she graduated magna cum laude earning a scholarship to Union College's Graduate Management Institute.
